Whats up all! I've got a couple small issues that are bugging me. Both are on my 08 lr3. After setting the alarm with the remote I'm having issues. After a few minutes the alarm starts going off. Sometimes no horn blowing, sometimes with horn blowing. Neither happens all the time but does happen.

The other issue is sometimes while driving I get a "Hood Open" message. Not all the time but sometimes.

Issues like this bug my and I have to find them. Hoping someone out in LR3 land can give me some ideas where to start. Thanks for checking out my post.

Sounds like a bonnet sensor. It's been documented on this forum plenty. Just search for it. I think it can probably be adjusted but also people put a piece of tin foil over the sensor and that cures it too. The two items are related for sure.

The alarm issue could be related to moisture in a harness somewhere. Have you had any spills in the center dash or have you seen any water drips inside the LR3?
