Audio Connectivity Module Sucks!

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

I'm posting to vent and hear other users experiences with the audio connectivity module for the Range Rover Touch Screen. I have an 08 supercharged and I just paid 1292 bucks to have this useless piece of crap installed. The ipod controls are rendered unusable, and the driver is forced to use the CD player controls. You cant choose artist, song, genre, et al. All you can do is choose one of 5 playlists and push forward and backward song by song. You don't even know what song is next, because the order is determined by date downloaded into your ipod.... Is there some way to update this thing?

Can you tell me more about this? I have a 2006 RRSS. Where would I plug my Ipod into? Sorry, I am kind of tech challenged. LOL
