Is there a resistor for the hvac fan that controls the fan speed, mine seem only to run on the highest setting. The rear fan works fine any sugestions?
Thanks for any help!

This unfortunately is a Land Rover issue. Normally it will not run correctly on the high setting or 4. You will need to replace the switch in the dash... what a pain in the neck this job is.

You can order the switch at any after market Land Rover Parts shop...

I get most of my parts from Nathan @ http://www.discountbritishparts.com/

He has never done me wrong and fast shipping.

As long as the switch is turning on the fans, yes the A/C should work, unless it is either low on R134a or there are other issues.

Since we are talking two different issues vallimama, you should start a new thread... when you do, please provide more info... mileage, tune up info, what service has been done. What the exact issue is.
