Boot replacement on 2004 Discovery

On a 2004 Discovery do you have suggestions on how I go about replacing the Boot to the hand brake. What do I remove, etc.

I would remove the switch cover for the windows and the pop the metal wire bracket that is wrapped in leather loose. At that point you slide the leather cover over the e-brake handle by pulling the boot over the handle while it is inside out.

Are you installing a new boot with the wire bracket or trying to replace the leather, gluing the leather to the old wire bracket?

Thank you Mike. I will follow your instruction. Not sure just how to remove the light switch cover but I'll take a look at it. If any problem I will contact you again.
I am installing a new leather boot with the metal bracket.
