Hello -

The cat conv is kaput on my 95 Classic SWB. I have heard that I can replace it with a "universal pipe", replace the o2 sensors or buy a factory replacement. The latter is more expensive than what I want to do, but I do not understand what the universal pipe is. Do I need to replace the pipe AND the o2 sensors or replace just the o2 sensors, or both?

Thank you for whatever help you can offer.

Hi Chuber
I do know that here in uk R/R/C's were sold from 89-92 without c/coverters in uk, dependant on your local emission req' s you may not need a cat. This can be by passed with a "flexi-pipe" ( a flexible piece of exhaust pipe used to join manifolds and downpipes normally)
