I almost got this when my truck was new but ended up skipping it. Was tempting, though.

Does anyone have pictures of ClearBra after it has been on a couple years? Just curious how it weathers the miles, sun & weather.

I have had my clear bra on for 4 years and it still looks great.

At this point, can't even remember if I specifically requested install behind the handles or if it was just part of the pkg, but our other car has keyless entry as well with lots of scratches. Definitely could be a ring issue.

Okay, you've outed me on the wax issue. I take my car in to get detailed once a year. Wax build up has never been a problem.

Live in Seattle and car is garaged, but have had no fading or discoloration.

In a brief conversation i had with an installer, the upkeep on the film is to clean it and wax it. I'll get more details when i go have it done.

:flute:I would love to have a clear bra for the old lady. Think they could do little round cutouts?

Here are the care instructions from the VentureShield literature they gave me:

+ Apply Plexus (Venture recommended) pastic cleaner per manufacturer's instructions with a clean microfiber towel or chamois.
+ Remove any foreign material (i.e., bugs, bird droppings, etc.) as quickly as possible in order to avoid permanent staining.
+ Wash car at least once per month
+ Is using a high pressure wash, keep nozzle at least 36" away from Venture Shield edges.
+ For wax build-up around edges, gently use a cotton swab dipped in isopropyl (rubbing) alcohol.

DO NOT USE
+ Powder based or abrasive cleaners
+ Solvent based degreasers
+ Rubbing compound, clay, or other type of abrasive material
+ High speed buffing or polishing equipment
+ Bug / tar removers

I'm glad someone mentioned waxing. I did some Googling and it does sound like it creates an ugly white line can appear using paste (or probably any non-clear) wax. Some people suggest not waxing all the way up to the clear bra line, some people suggest just not dragging the wax over the clear-bra, and some people suggest using a clear spray way around the edges (and then paste elsewhere). I think I will try the latter.

Oh, and the warranty is against cracking, bubbling, or yellowing. I think I said peeling, bubbling, or yellowing earlier... I'll go edit that.
