Hello all! I'm a new owner of a 2007 LR3 HSE and also new to LR. I recently had an issue with my "check engine" light illuminating. Using my code reader, I got a code of "P2402 - EVAP leak detection pump ckt high" or something like that. Brought it to local dealer (Phillips LR in Va Beach). They replaced the EVAP system pump under warranty. Even gave me a loaner without asking!
I searched this site as well as the UK site for anyone with this code, but no luck. Apparently it's the evaporative emissions detection pump running too long or drawing too many amps. No driveability (sp?) issues, but the light is annoying!
This is the 2nd time I've had the Rover in for dealer work in the last month. First time was right after I bought it to replace the cooler box in the center console. I had noticed it was not working when I took delivery. Also had an issue with a loose wire behind the front bumper causing a short in the fog lights (blowing fuses when trying to turn on the fog lights).
