Cruise Control not Permitted

Why do you vex me so... In the middle of a long drive from Ohio to Colorado.

I filled up at an out of the way gas station and the premium fuel actually ran out while filling up. Which means I probably pumped all the dregs and crud into my truck. After using that fuel up and refilling at another station, turning the ignition off and on a few times it went away and cruise is working fine again. I am just curious if this might be connected. I read some people mentioning a brake light switch but they are working fine.

Had this problem myself and was fixed under warranty...I believe it's a clock spring issue as mentioned in the link below.
