In the previous threads i have been complaining about a coolant leak. It turned out that my radiator was clog which cause my head gasket and front valve cover to get trashed. in the 3 weeks of me trying to find the cause of the leaks, even though my system had fluid, my lower block over heated which caused my #5 cylinder wall to get a slight fracture.
My options are to buy a new lower block for about 4500 or send the block to a machine shop to get the cylinder grinded down this will run about half of replacing the short block.
well it might have finally come down to me getting rid of the poor girl.. i put almost 90k miles on it...
any thoughts on my situation???
