I have a UK spec (but live in Ireland) D4 on a 2016 plate. With my newly acquired 6.5m RIB I have inherited an old 6m double axle trailer with no electrical connections. I only use the trailer to haul it in and out of the water a few hundred metres so I don't need to buy a trailer board. Anybody have a solution to turning off the reversing alert, I was thinking could I buy a cheap dummy plug for my electrical connector? (see 7 pin right hand connector). The dealer was as usual here pretty useless "if it wasn't ordered to be fitted with the vehicle when purchased then we can't help".

Cheers

Since I have issues with my sensors continuing to flash on the dash button after I revert back to drive I did some research and find yet again that the parking sensors are another impossibly complicated system on the LR3. Recognizing you have an LR4 I have attached the manual section for the LR3 which may or may not help you.
