ECM swap. Who's done it?

Been having weird issues with D1. And have a extra ECM of the same year. So thinking of swapping to see if that makes a difference.

But sounds like there could be some issues so I wanted to see who actually has done this before and what problems I might have.

What steps do you take?

It can cause the ECU to lock up if you swap. If you don't have the Rover Computer standing by to reset I would not do it.
