I have a 1984 Land rover 90. When I put on several electrical items such as main beam lights and heater blower and brake lights, the ignition warning light begins to glow slightly, and the battery does not seem to charge fully. I have put on a new 65 amp alternator and replaced the cable to the starter motor. On the alternator, can anyone tell me if the thinner wire to the resistor and warning light comes off of the same terminal as the thick wire to the starter motor? Failing that can anyone help me with this problem and give me a clue how to solve the problem? all help would be appreciated,

The only thought I have is grounding and connections, have you checked them, are they loose or dirty? Past that take it to a shop and have them do a charging/draw test.
