Engin Swap???

I HAVE A 98 DISCO THINKING ABOUT ENGIN SWAP HAS ANYONE IN HERE DONE THAT ???? ALSO THINKING GOING FROM 4.0L TO 4.6L CAN ANYONE HELP

Maybe it is my morning headache, but even the 4.6 liter that is in the newer rovers isn't a ford engine, technically it might be because ford owns LR, but it is still a buick motor.

You can go with a 5.2 liter Rover engine though.... but I don't know how long the drive train will hold up.

is there actualy an engin that bolts right on without any mods on the damn 98 disco

Yep a 4.0 will bolt right up.... sorry if that sounds like a smart remark, but the other engines will require ECU upgrades and other items as well. If you looking for more power and have unlimited budget... add a cam, headers, rechip the ECU, upgrade the injectors and have the head reworked....

If on a budget, put up another 4.0

You can also put a diesel in for around 10k
