Depends on the year of the Discovery, but presuming you are talking a 2004 and older model. then it is a preference thing... how loud do you like your rover and do you believe in the "if it isn't broke don't fix it" thought process.
No I believe improvement or updating is almost always better. I put dual exhaust . H pipe from cats split up and over identical from left exhaust pipe so there won't be any issues with articulation.of rear. Sounds amazing. Not loud but sounds good MAGNA FLOW growl .no moan in cab..woke the disco up a bit I like it..
