Extended Warranty

Hey..need some advice.

I have a 2011 LR4 (68,000km / 42,000 miles). My CoverageOne warranty is up at the end of year. I'm thinking about if I should get another extended warranty.

Prices seem to be around $4800CDN for full coverage for 3 years.

I'm nervous about some random thing going in the next few years and costing more than that. Dealership charges $170 / hour for labour so won't take many issues to have it worth it.

Wondered what you all thought.

What repair costs more than $5k? It's insurance... do the risk analysis. And consider they would probably not be offering a warranty at that price unless they had done the math and thought that they would be likely to make money on the deal.

My factory warranty ran out a month ago. 2013 with 50k+ miles. I didn't get any extended warranty, but then again if something bad did happen, $5k wont bust me. I can afford to take the risk.
