Freelander oil

Hi, I have just purchased a second hand 2001 TD4 Freelander from the UK. I would like some help regarding the type of oil I should use for the sub tropical temperatures here in Malta. Is Amsoil 10w/30 Ok?

Welcome to the forum... for tech questions it is better to post in the tech section. Not sure of the requirements on the TD4, but I have never ran less than a 15W30 in a Diesel. But then again I never ran them in the cold much either...
