This weekend was front suspension refresh-palooza. I still have a couple of pieces to replace but had a question about the sway bar bushings. I'm good with the replacement procedure except for unloading the sway bar.
After I finish swapping the passenger side bits, I plan to attack this with the vehicle on the ground at normal height (plus 2.5" for the SYA spacers and rods).
Am I going to have to Jack it up at all to relieve tension or loosen the newly installed end links? Or should I be ok to remove the brackets and replace the bushings without raising or lowering the vehicle? I just do not want the bar to move and, best case I can't reinstall the brackets; worse case it springs up and injuries my dainty fingers.
What are your thoughts?
