Fuel Gauge

Here is the latest from the last trip to the dealer. The fuel gauge would suddenly go to Empty while driving. Sometimes it would return to the amount of fuel in the tank in a few miles and sometimes it would take days to return.

From the service ticket they replaced the whole fuel tank. I would have to assume that is only the sending unit. Anyone else have this problem?

The fuel tank issue is a common one, and is actually under recall. It effected all 2005 models (except perhaps the V6?) and I think the recall extended into part of the 2006 lineup as well. Check with your dealer for specifics and VIN's, etc...
