Hi -
So, brought my truck in for some work .. While it was there, the dealer ran two upgrades on the TCU to try and address some transmission roughness.
Can't tell much difference in the tranny, but now my gas mileage is **** (9mpg) and have what i would call a fuel injector ping when revs are b/w 2500 - 4500. the ping was not there before going in.
not sure how there'd be any relationship b/w the two things other than may be they put crappy gas in while it was in the shop.
i'd love to hear your thoughts..
