Ok, not really the sawzall but the angle grinder and sander.

I cut the front bumper to the "Saudi" spec bumper and couldn't be happier. The amount of clearence you gain is amazing, this will have to do until I can get Kyle to make me one of his bumpers :wink:

That was the first mod I made on my Rover. It was all downhill from there.

Here's my 2000 d2 with bumper die grinder adjustments.
It increases approach angle a lot while still offering some protection to the steering.
