I am at wits end about a constant blowing of a fuse.
The Engine Management fuse to be exact, on a 98 Discovery 2 anniversary edition.
I started tracing down wires but could not find any breaks or shorts (as of yet) but I am still looking.
Could the ECU unit it self cause the fuse to blow?
I did discover the sensor on the top of the fuel pump was rusted out and crumbling. I have replaced the fuel pump, not even sure if that may have been a partial cause of the fuse blowing.
Could the green and white wire from the fuse be connected, under the chassis to the fuel pump?
I bought my Rover in better time and put a lot of money in it for rebuilding the heads and new gaskets.
I replaced the water pump, fan clutch, fan, belts etc, and to have this fuse stop me is the most frustrating obstacle yet.
I am 57 and have work on my own vehicles since was 13.
The older I get, the dumber I get or something like that.
