As it gets colder the thoughts of snow covered roads is one of my favorite things. However along with that comes road salt - and the corrosion threats that it brings. What type of things can be done to protect the finish and undercarriage from rust and deterioration when the salt is thick?

Go to the self service car wash once a month or after a hard snow and power wash the truck top to bottom.

Keeping the undercarraige clean will go a long way. I've even read some guys using baby oil or something like that so mud and road grime washes off more easily. Haven't tried that though.
