Gobi Rack Install Question - help needed...

I know. I hear you. Even the initial screw up was addressed quickly. They ended up sending me a steel rack box and the ratchet straps as amends...even though I didn't ask them for anything.

So, my intention is to be cool about it...but, again, almost $2k... ~ 8 months lead time...and now two screwups. I'll certainly let the thread know how it ends up. I am going to take "matching" photos and take measurements.... then email them, and follow up with a phone call.

I'm just about to order exactly the same setup from GOBI - I too have the OEM Long Roof Rails.
May I ask what was the issue and was it resolved?
