I Have Owned My '96 For 10 Years Now. I Have Gone Through Many Of The Problems That Plague These Beauties. From Blown Suspensions ( Switched To Coil Springs That I Love!) To Elecrical Gremlins, all The Check Engine Lights, I Could Go On And On, But I Won't. However This Morning I Went Out To Take A Drive And Was Warming The Truck Up And As I Walked Towards It , I Could See The Headlights Were Flashing. Upon Entering The Rover He Message Center Said " Electrical Fault" And "check Alternator" . I Drove The Truck For Almost 45 Mins And The Lights Kept Flashing Including The Glove Box Lights And Gauge And Radio Lights. I Hooked Up My Obd Fault Reader And Nothing Comes Up As Being Wrong! Help!!! I Know That If The Answer Is Out There, I Am In The Right Place. Thanks . Jym

Welcome to the forum.

Sounds like your BECM has gotten water in it. Located under the passenger seat.
