does anyone know where and how much performance heards for a 1995 discovery would be? another question, i need a bigger/ more powerful alternator for my disco, i have a big stereo sytem in it and it siucks alot of power, it causes the belt to slip and it takes a while for it to catch back on, while it is slipping my rpm gauge doesnt work, how much is a new alternator or is it cheaper to have it rewrapped to make it more powerful. i have tightened the belt tensioner and it doesnt help. i dont know what i should do?

radiator

also, after driving in some soft sand for about 10 min the temp gauge starts to rise and in no time it is in the red zone. when i get back on pavement it goes right down to normal, i dont get it? could this be a radiator problem, i know it isnt the coolantor fan clutch.what is the cheapest price to get a replacment radiator. i think is is possible that it has stuff built up in it.

Im sure that Joey will give you the info for the headers. There Headman headers for a Range Rover classic, but pretty difficult to fit. You should have your radiator flushed anyway but I dont think thats your problem. How deep in the sand do you get?

Headers give you top-end power (pretty much the opposite of what you're looking for when driving in the sand), and Joey did put some on his Disco. I'll see if I can find the cross-reference for the radiator, I know there's a US part # that'd be cheaper than the Genuine LR part. But try flushing and possibly rodding it first.
