I have burned up 3 passenger side upstream O2 sensors in my 2000 DII W/ 87,000 miles.

When the sensors go I get the code for Bank 2 running lean?

When they are working correctly the scanner shows a rich condition on the passenger side?

I am running out of options. When I install a new sensor the truck runs great and gets good mileage, for a Rover, but when it craps out I get **** for mileage and it runs rough?

Any ideas

What plugs and wires are you using...

Could be a fuel injector going bad... try getting them cleaned (seafoam in the tank), or take it to a shop and have them flush the fuel system with the high tech machines.

Can't blame the plugs or wires then....

I would say you have an injector issue. Have them cleaned, or look into replacement... clean first as it is cheaper.

What about a blocked cat? I have no rattle but maybe just maybe?

2000 DII 88,000 I did have a flashing SES light right before I changed the plugs and wires.

Bad cat is possible, just take it to the local muffler shop and have them test it... free at most places.
