HELP!!! any ideas

Hey guys i have a 2001 Land Rover Discovery SE7

It Doesn't start, hoever it cranks.
i checked the spark and it's not getting any, also i can smell gasoline coming from the exaust as a sign that the fuel pump is working.

Any Ideas?????

Crank positions switch is possible bad.

Need more maintenance history to know for sure. Also when did the issue start? Any issues prior to this?

this issue Started the 11th of November so about two weeks ago and there were no prior issues to this occuring. other than this my land rover has been fine, i even checked all the possible problems with a code reader, which i corrected ( the reader said that the third gear, wasn't out of alignment). now im stuck with a discovery that only cranks.

Crank position sensor, or possible bad MAF sensor. Unplug the MAF, if this doesn't help, then you need a crank position sensor... I posted info on this in the last month or so...
