Hey all.

I was hoping my first post wouldn't be a techincal question, but I need some help.

I am trying to find out where the Fan Temperature Switch would go in a 97 Discovery. According to my shop guide it says it goes in the Thermostat housing, however there is nothing there. The housing isn't like the one in the diagram. Is there somewhere else it could go? My auxilary fans are not coming on, and I was told to change out the switch.

Thanks in advance.

Are you talking about the fans in front of the radiator? (a/c condenser fans)
They run when the a/c is on.
The activation switch mounts to the condensor tubing.

The stock engine fan is not electric and has no thermostat switch. (A viscous clutch coupling)

When I installed twin electrics in place of my mechanical fan, I put the thermostatic switch probe in the fins of the radiator driver's side top.

luck,greg
