I just bought a 2000 Discovery and I noticed that under all four floor mats, the carpet is wet. I have been told that this could be from a blocked up hose from my A/C unit. Anybody had this problem or have any suggestions? Thanks

Yes, A/C hose drains are normal.... crawl under the disco, on the front part of the driver or passenger door, and midway on the vehicle you will find the Transmission. If you look up you should see (one on each side) two tubes, that kind of look like dirty pipes. If you feel them you will see they are rubber.

On the end you will find one each a rubber ******, caution you will get covered in nasty dirty oily water. You can either squeeze them or poke something up there and it will clean them out.

...another possibility

No idea the veracity of this; but a LR factory mechanic told me that it may also be a disconnected sunroof drain. When my 2003 had the same issue it was the AC, but the mechanic told me the drain running from the sunroof in disco's of our vintage were prone to to that issue; and it caused the same symptoms as a clogged AC drain.

...for what its worth, and with the caveat being I have no idea if its true or not
