Help !!!

Hey all, I've got a 1999 Discovery II. Every once in a while when just driving along or braking, I'll get a triple chime ( like when the captain turns on the low fuel light lol ) and then the ABS, Traction control and hill descent dash lights will light up amber. The problem is now i have no ABS until i shut the truck off and restart it. Anyone have this problem before? It's been doing this for 2 months but now it seems important as i gaze out the window at our first snowstorm falling here in NH. Thanx everybody... Happy Holidays

Yes, this is a common problem with disco's. If you search in this forum for 3 amigos you will find tons of stuff. Chongo has some good articles and Joey has helped out hundreds. It is most likely dirty sensors but could be something more serious. I had the 3 up in the cluster but abs and trac control still worked. I checked it on a gravel road by slamming on the brakes then flooring it and both were fine but HDC didn't work not that I use it anyway.
