Hopefully Soon to Be Land Rover Owner

Hi guys,

I've been reading this forum for a while researching the Discovery and have decided to take the plunge.

I've heard mixed reviews pertaining to the later Defender II model's reliability, but I'm going to take a gamble simply because I'm drawn to its functionality and design. I have three kids with another on the way, and really can't stand the thought of a minivan.

If anyone knows of a black '04 Discovery II SE7 with under 100,000 miles and no rust, let me know

Welcome to the forum. Don't know where you're located but if you're anywhere close to Louisville Kentucky there is a dealership in LaGrange Kentucky, Platinum Motorsports, where I recently bought my 2006 LR3. They've been great to work with and they specialize in Rovers.

Thanks, I'll check them out. I'm near Chicago so it's a short drive to Kentucky. My wife is actually competing in Ironman Louisville as well later this year.
