Air Induction is typically an aerosol can or otherwise pressurized cleaner sprayed into the air intake. That will clean your air plenum, and throttle body. I'd doubt that's what they are talking about.
Fuel Induction/Injector cleaning is done by one of two ways:
1: A gas tank additive. This is not a very good solution and would take quite a while (multiple tankfuls) to do a great deal of cleaning.
2: Disconnect the fuel supply and run a concentrated cleaning solution (concentrated fuel/cleaner mixture) directly through the fuel rail. This helps to remove the carbon deposits by dissolving the resins that bind them and unclog your fuel injectors, which is making it run rough.

$290 is a bit steep, but you know it will be at the dealership. You could get it done for less at an independent shop.

Starting at about 40,000 miles, I had the same problem with my '05 HSE; idle fluctuation only during warm-up. There were never any codes and the dealer tried twice to re-flash with very limited success. I didn't make a big deal of it because it doesn't take long for an engine to warm up in South Florida. Finally, at about 75,000 miles I changed the transmission fluid and filter and the problem went away. Later, I happened to be reading the ZF 6HP32 trouble shooting guide on the Land Rover GTR website, old and low transmission fluid was listed as a cause of idle fluctuation at warm-up. I believe the engine uses transmission fluid temperature to calculate idle speed, maybe a low level or old fluid gives an unreliable signal. Whatever the case, my problem was solved.

My advice, and this could be a long shot, if you have high milage, spend the money to get the transmission fluid and filter changed. You should do this anyway at 75,000 miles. If you still have the problem then spend the money to get the somewhat dubious fuel system and intake flush. At the least, you will do some preventative maintenance for your transmission.

Tying the idle to the transmission temperature? That's kind of bizarre....
I'm no mechanic, but that makes no sense. Does anyone know if there is there any logic at all in that?

Doesnt make sense to me either....the manual doesnt recommend changing the tranny fluid for 10 years or 150k

A lot of things don't make sense ,like a three year old battery being the cause of suspension faults. Pay to access the LR GTR and look up the section "ZF 6HP26 Troublshooting Guide - Land Rover" and see for yourself.

When the battery causes a suspension fault its an electrical problem and the light is being tripped. The LR3 needs a lot of juice from the battery. The battery isn't causing a actual
suspension problem. It does actually make sense.
