Installing Second Row Mat Retaining Clips

My 2012 LR4 only came with the front retaining clips installed in the carpet. If I buy the LR030413 clips for the second row, is there an easy way to install them?

You'll have to cut holes in the carpet for the front and rear of the clip assembly to go though. Put your mats down, mark where you're hook will rise through the assembly and go from there. "Measure twice...cut once", as they say. You'll have one shot at this but no pressure mate!

So, the carpet will pull up for me to slide the clip under, right?
