Problem - 2007 LR3 rear windows work sporadically.
I've been told I probably have a corroded splice in the right front door sill area. It's gray and black I think. Supposedly if you look at a schematic it's going to be the LIN buss.
I pulled the sill and couldn't find the splice although wiggling the wire harness in that area did fix the problem for a few days so I'm pretty sure we're on the right track. Can anyone pinpoint where the splice is hiding in a wire harness about 1-1/4" inches in diameter? Is it at the forward edge of the door opening?
A picture with a big arrow pointing at the splice would be extremely helpful. I tried looking for it but it may have been hiding behind some stuff I really didn't want to take apart.
