iOS 13 Bovee Issues

With everyone Bovee (or CarPlay) can you pause the music? This is something I never really questioned because it has always been that way, but I cannot pause the music. If I do, it immediately unpauses and starts playing again. Is this the case for everyone, or just me? Perhaps I need to look into something

This is super old, but for anyone else that finds this, you have to pause from the head unit. Then it stays paused. Or just use the stereo power button. It'll pause then restart when you power back on.
