Perhaps October...Stay tuned.

I received the information on Jaguar intergration kits last month and received a kit last week. It is a pretty sweet hidden-harness plug-in type deal around $200. In the Jaguars, you end up with a port in the console for iPod, a USB storage device, and some input jacks. It is all operated through the steering or standard controls. One thing that bums me is that file names are not displayed. Anyway, I've been told that the Land Rover integration kit comes out in October. As for factory fit iPod integration, I've not seen anything on that yet, but if I hear, I will post.

Land Rover had a mock-up USB storage & iPod UI interface prototype (running on Windows XP!) at the last Land Rover event I was at... so they are gathering feedback from folks. I'm guessing maybe 2008 or 2009 as a Land Rover factory option.

Any idea of this kit would work in 05/06 LR3s?

From what I am told, the kit should fit LR3, RRS and '06 RR. All three have very similiar electrical architecture.

Well, that would be worth $200 then! Cool; iPod integration on a car that didn't leave the factory with the capability or the CD Changer AUX port other solutions hijack.

Thanks.

I won't believe it until I see it, personally. Nav-TV was planning to hijack the SDARS (satellite radio) interface/UI... which seemed like a good idea.

Alpine Hub for Sirius Radio and iPod in my LR3

I too have been waiting on Nav TV solution but my patience has run out.
Connecting an iPod and Sirius radio to my LR3 was quite easy using a few aftermarket products... I went with an Alpine hub which only needs to be connected to an audio/video input.
I used a video cable to connect to video to the Navigation unit and the audio to the jack on the back of the console. Simply put the Navigation screen in test mode to see text information from iPod or Sirius-- the hub comes with a remote control and remote eye and allows you to browse iPod or Sirius menu. (can't use the touch-screen).
I don't use the display all the time because i have setup my 5 Favorites Sirius stations and use the remote to change them without having to look at the screen but its is good to know that i can by switching the Navigation display.
Doing this does not interfere with the Navigation -- the promps still work and the navigation screen is up and running in the background.
I got the idea from this website-- the owner has the same setup in his 05 LR3 (he also has a DVD player connected to the hub).I thought it was a better Satellite radio solution that LR offering. The hub, ipod interface and sirius tuners are all hidden under the storage compartment behind rear seats.
