Is there a trunk release from insde the trunk?

If you where stuck in the trunk could hit a button from inside the trunk to open the back window? If therew is a trunk release button where is it?

I have a 2006 HSE

The reason is I locked my keys in my trunk but the trunk is not shut all the way so I can reach in there with a coat hanger. It's just barely cracked in the back enough for a coat hanger to slip through.

OUCH! I wondered the same thing because I had to climb in to the vehicle from the front seats and fold down the back seats to get the jack, etc. from the back of the vehicle, when the battery was dead. I jumped the battery and then all the doors unlocked, but that was after I had already strained my back.

The manual says the only way into the trunk other than the button (on my 98 hse) is from the front of the car. maybe they have a way to open it keylessly from a distance? Sorry I'm not more help.

Funny story and well kind of sad lol. So I had to break a window to get into my 2006 HSE range rover, it was $250 to fix the glass so It wasnt too bad.

But my neighbor thought I was breaking into the car and called the police which in turn had a helicopter looking for me on a APB.

Anyways I'm in the car the window will be fixed tomorrow and a lesson learned get a duplicate key!
