K&N has released an air filter for the 05-06 LR3. It's part 33-2333.

It's for the V8. Does anyone know if it would be compatible with the V6??

They should be the same. They also have an oil filter for the V6. Feel free to browse K&N's web site at http://www.knfilters.com
