key lock and unlock not functioning

Key buttons stopped working on one key. I believe the keys are charged as the car runs and that there are no batteries to replace. Has anyone had a similar problem? Dealer has not experienced it before. '05 LR3

There is a rechargable battery in the keyfob and it recharges every time the key is inserted. If you haven't use the key for a while, it could be the power was drain. Just insert it and drive for a while and it should recharge. If not, it's probably just broken. Your dealer should be able to help easily.

Thanks. Ended up taking it to the dealer - it needs to be replaced.
