It's been pouring down rain since I got home so the only pictures I have are what I got off the dealers site when I was trying to decide if this was the one to get. I'll post more when I take it out to get dirty.

Greetings, I've been shopping for a LR3 and recently came across an extra clean 2005 LR3 SE with over 139k miles at a dealer. It looks brand new inside & out, it was cared for very well, the carfax records show all dealer maintenence entries up to 129k miles. My question is with this many miles would I just be getting into more maintenence than a LR3 with only 60,000-70,000 miles. I understand all vehicles need maintenence and I have researched the forums for some time now and have read about the common failures and maintenence issues with LR3s. The only reason I'm even considering this LR3, is it's the color combination, looks brand new and the next closest LR3 to look at is 100-200 miles away, but they would only have less than 70k miles on them, for an extra $7500.

So how has it been, two months in?

Well I had my LR3 for 2 months now and it's awesome. We finally got some snow & ice on the roads so I was able to see how it handles the winter weather and it did great. I changed the terrain response to the Grass, Gravel & Snow setting for the day and noticed my mpg dropped from 13.6 to 13.5. I do mostly city driving so my mpg is on the low end. I've also noticed that my mpg drops with the outside temperature.
I haven't had any problems, just a couple of pre-existing conditions that I haven't looked at yet.

I must be looking in the wrong place (CL, eBay, cars.com, auto trader). Where did you find one like that for $6k?
