Were you on an extended warranty? I dealt with two different ford dealerships for over a month trying to get my F150 fixed and I was able to prove lies all over the place between the two of them. I went after the general manager of both and also opened a case with the Attorney General (for Illinois) due to their bad practices. <-This is how I ended up with my LR. Good call on going to corporate but I'd go further and get the law involved if you really think something isn't right. Get them to give you the full documentation of what was done and when...if they can't produce that (or won't) then I'd take them to the cleaners on bad faith alone. If the work was done in mid-August why would you get your LR back in September? There's a lot of things that don't seem right here...best of luck and I hope you get satisfaction!
Forgot to mention - they put a hundreds of miles on my truck trying to diagnose an obvious issue. I billed them for each mile they put on it and they paid out because they didn't want the AG barking up their tree anymore.
