LR Mounting Brackets for non OEM foglights

Any info on the LR3 fog light mounting brackets? It seems cheaper to buy the mounting brackets from LR and then buy some PIAA's or Hella's and mount them to the brackets. One question is will most aftermarket lights fit thos OEM LR mounting brackets?

Any help appreciated.

That could work, but you would need to modify them quite a bit. They are not the greatest bracket in the world. The adjustment of the lens angle is really flimsy, just some plastic gears used as cogs.

however, the sub bumper standoffs and the baseplate are quite good. I'm not sure that they qualify as a cheaper alternative though. My bumper mount brackets were somewhere around $150
