Tires and wheels is definitely the hot topic of the this (and every LR3) message board.

Reporting back--have had the Pirelli ATRs for a couple weeks. Excellent handling in rain and on dry pavement. Very quiet. Can't wait to see them in other conditions--will be going to the Rockies later this year. Internet reviews suggest that they will last much longer than the other available Pirellis and still much cheaper than the GYs.

I put the ATRs on in January.. very, very quiet, great for the south Florida mountain trails, Miami commuting, ideal for hurricanes/flooding, but keep the air pressure up.

just kidding, no mountains here..just the flaming everglades.

Very much underrated in the US... the guys in the UK love them...Excellent tires!
