Hey All,

Love the forum. Does anyone have any experience with LR4 loaner pricing? As many of you may know, when the Land Rover vehicles reach 3,000 miles they can be removed from the loaner program and sold at a discounted price. I am currently looking at a 2010 LR4 HSE that is coming up on the 3,000 miles.

Without much negotiation, they are saying I could get the car for $1,000-$2,000 under invoice which is around $48,000 with the HSE. I would think they'd have more flexibility on a vehicle like this since this is basically used. Have any of you found yourselves in similar situations? Most of the pricing discussed on these threads involve new cars. Wish I could afford a brand new LR4 with the LUX package...maybe someday...!!

Thanks in advance,

Dave

Picked up our 2010 LR4 HSE LUX back in July.....

It was my dealer's loaner, but it only had 900 miles on it at time of delivery, and the dealers manager was driving it daily as his personal vehicle for about three weeks. We actually put about 200 of the 900 miles on it while taking it for a couple day test drive. We negotiated a price on a new one, but when the dealer could not track down what we wanted, he offered us the loaner (which had more on it then we initially wanted) for less then what we negotiated off the new one they were trying to trade for. Our vehicle listed at just under $61k. The dealer took $4800 off the sticker, and we leased the vehicle. They were only going to give us $3k off the new one they were trying to track down, so basically taking the loaner upped the discount another $1800 bucks. What your dealer is offering sounds about right. I remember my dealer saying something about the "kick back, or credit" they get from Land Rover to offer the loaners at "under invoice" pricing, without taking a bath. We were happy, and have been very happy since taking delivery. Good luck to you!

Cheers,

Joe
