LR4 not garaged - should it be covered?

I live in a redwood forest and don't have a garage, I have constant problems with my drains clogging up. My driveway has a slight incline downhill and I just back in every time and park nose up. Haven't had any issues since I got in that habit. It's a bit disconcerting to drive off and have water start pouring out of the pillars.

I cleaned my mine and sprayed some dry lube in the tubes and it helps lubricate the debris
