Hi all- I drive a 2012 LR4 HSE with the 19" factory wheels. I'm looking for a decent all-around tire for summer use that is capable of on and off-road challenges found in the Pacific Northwest and still highway capable.
I had Falkens and AT2s on my LR3 and want something similar.
Any suggestions?

So many highly rated choices. Read the reviews at tirerack.com.
The Duellers, Trail-Terrains, TerrainContacts, are better than the opencountrys, in my mind. I'm still running the Pirelli scorpions A/Ts. Unfortunately they discontinued them.

I was thinking about Pirelli P Zeros or Michelin Pilot Sports. But another side is thinking about buying 5 18" rims and KO2's. I'm also thinking about BFG's Trail Terrain for the 19's but I want white lettering on the outside.

Apparently 18” on an LR4 m are a pain in the keester, spacers are needed. Going to stick with the 19” for now

P Zeros or Pilot Sports on an LR4?? Let alone capable of off-road?? Good luck with that.
Glad you brought up the sp....s word. Those of us that really drive, in all the weather, in all the conditions, in all the terrain, pay attention to things like this:

You'd be surprised what the LR4 can do. Since I'm going to stop overlanding it makes sense but I've ran street tires all over the mountains and deserts of NV and UT. I had the idea that it can launch on the street harder with soft tires like the PZeros. They won't last more than 10k mi but those would be fun miles with an AWD V8.

I run the Toyo at3 and have been impressed with their durability off-road, when aired down (25psi send about as low as I'm comfortable with the 19's). I'm hoping I can move to 18's and run either ko2 or ko3 next time I'm due for tires.
