Start with ensuring you have a strong battery.
The battery is 2 years old, it is a 100a Varta, I recharged it a few days ago to rule out that it was that and the next day the Christmas tree came back, I must also say that it has been 4 days without the failures

Any spills near the shifter/terrain response controls?
Is there water along the passenger door sill track (under trim and carpet)?
Or, sometimes a new brake light switch is the cure.

Everything is fine, no moisture or spills, I will have to try a new brake switch to see if it solves it, there are also times when I get the transmission failure message on the information screen, but no light comes on, just It won't let me use the sequential shift
