Well, there are brackets, but since there were no directions, I didn't use them. Wonder what they are for?
Here are some pics. The car is really dirty, but you get an idea of how they fit. The fronts went on really easy and the fit was pretty good. No issues other than having to push up on the flaps to get the holes to line up, which I assume is on purpose to get the tight fit.
Now for the back. I just couldn't get them to fit tight where they met the lower trim piece (molded plastic one). Maybe that is what the bracket is for...I guess i should have googled it. When I forced it tight, the fit was perfect, so I used a stainless steel medium thread screw to pin it tight. I drove the screw through the trim piece but from the outside. You can't see the screw head as it is buried inside behind the finished outside that's visible.
Once I pinned it, the contour tightened up and fit very nicely. I did not have to trim either the fronts or the backs. I didn't have stainless bolt/washer/nuts which is why I used the SS screw. When I get to the hardware store, I'll pick up them up and replace the screws with something more permanent.
These flaps are pretty flexible. I don't think they'd snap. When putting a screw in the rears, I bent them out to get in there and they were fine. For under $50, I'm happy. The same from JLR is over $200. Now if I can just figure out what they heck those brackets are for?
