New Disco...Some Issues

Hi! Just joined the forums...and just picked up an 04 disco. There are two issues that I have, right off the bat:

1 Although I have the radio code, when I turn on the radio, it just reads "Wait". ?.

2 When Im riding around, it sounds like water is running, like a woooshing sound when I gas it. ?.

Just thought Id put that out there. Im really enjoying the forums and can't wait to enjoy my LR.

Hey im not an expert, but i had that "wooshing" sound before and asked the question on here about it. Check your coolant. Mine was low, filled it, stopped the problem.

+1 water sound is more than likely low coolant.

Radio if it just reads wait, it sounds like it has issues. Take it back and have someone fix it. If it said Code that is different.

low on radiator fluid. Mine did the same thing before I replaced the radiator. The radiator was bad on my old Range Rover Classic. Had a hole and the stems were pluged. That is why my anti freeze was continually going low.
