New LR3 Owner in Seattle Area

Just quick hello from a brand new LR3 owner in the Seattle area. I've had a love for LR's since my college (Jeep CJ7) days and finally bought one (2008 LR3 in White).

Of course this new ride will mostly shuttle kids back and forth but we hope to occasionally take it up a few trails and access roads in the Cascades and Olympics from time to time.

Been cruising the site for some time educating myself on all things LR3 and I'm happy to finally have a reason to join and post here.

Do you have any old records as far as service goes? How many miles on it and how mechanical are you?

Major service records (at the local LR dealership), 79,000 and I"m very mechanical.

With all the diff and t/case problems with LR3's, you may want to find out exactly what was done, usually the dealers do not do a full service as they should.
